  • Dr. Haibo Dong’s recent proposal “CAREER: An Integrated Study of Biological Fluid Dynamics in Nature” has been selected for funding by National Science Foundation Fluid Dynamics program. This is a five-year integrated research and education program on discovering the secrets of flying in nature. Congratulations!

  • Every year the Southwest Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) solicits names from member institutions of faculty who have  demonstrated teaching excellence at their university. Individuals selected for this award are recognized at a luncheon sponsored by SOCHE.

    Our group faculty, Dr. Haibo Dong, will be recognized at SOCHE’s Faculty Awards Luncheon, which will be held at Antioch College, Glen Helen Building on Friday, April 15, 2011.

  • Flow Simulation Research Group now has a new laboratory, Bio-inspired Flight Analysis Laboratory (356 Russ Center), which is equiped by a world-class high-speed photogrammetry camera systems and computer clusters, August 2009.
